- The use of internal bore lathe Burnishing tools allows for the achievement of a mirror-like finish on workpieces through turning, thereby improving the surface roughness of the workpieces.
- The default minimum machining bore diameter for internal bore lathe Burnishing tools is 0.9 inches (23 mm). However, the tool head can be DIY cut to enable machining of smaller internal bores. Once the tool head is shortened, the minimum machining bore diameter becomes 18.5 mm (0.73 inches).
- Internal bore lathe Burnishing tools are suitable for machining through holes as well as blind holes and stepped holes. They are applicable for machining metals with hardness ranging between HRC 18 and 68.
